For the Love of Type is a collaborative book that celebrates typography and typeface design. Each student in the class researched a different typeface and contributed the pages in this volume that describe and showcase their assigned typeface.
I designed the cover, front matter, and end matter, along with the section about the typeface Nordvest. The style of the cover and book matter carries throughout the book with the divider pages between each typeface section. To design the section about Nordvest, I pulled from the typeface designer’s inspirations, which included the places where she has lived and traveled.
