JUNE 2022 – CURRENT
Mor Furniture is a west coast home furniture company with 35 stores in 7 states. I began at Mor Furniture as an intern in June 2022, and have continued since.
As the sole graphic designer at Mor, I create website banners, UX wireframes, and social media assets. I also design printed posters, signage, and showroom displays. Working at Mor has taught me what it is like to design for a large company, adhere to specs, and collaborate with a team. I try to interject some originality into the corporate aesthetic of the company.
I have created dozens of projects for Mor, with my favorites featured below.
Designer Series
Designer Series is a monthly collaboration with an interior designer. The designer will style two Mor Furniture pieces. We wanted to created a space in the showroom for these designs to be displayed to customers. For this project, I designed a neon sign and poster to go in the "designer corner."
Web Banners
For each sale the company does, I create web banners to promote the sale. I am asked to concept a different look and feel for each sale. I create web and mobile versions, as well as versions for social media and showroom TV displays.
Like2Buy
This "Like2Buy" page is the landing page that social media users land on when they click on an ad. I designed these four icons to go the CTA tiles that lead to different pages on the Mor website.
